SLAB Gallery was born from a desire to create a space dedicated to architects and designers, a place where natural stone could be discovered without haste, at true scale and in all its complexity.

I wanted a living library of materials, not a conventional showroom. A space where you can choose not just a type of stone, but the exact slab that's right for a project, for its veining, colour and one-of-a-kind character.

Here, ideas can begin directly with the material, and our team can carry them forward, from selection and design through to final execution.

We created SLAB Gallery as an art gallery at architectural scale: every slab is a unique work, sculpted by nature over millions of years. In our flagship store in Bucharest, architects and designers can see the material at its true size, touch its surface and closely observe the veining, texture and every detail that can't be fully understood from a simple sample. The experience continues online too, through Slab Inventory, where they have access to the real stock available directly at the quarry and can choose exactly the slab they want, with the precise pattern, tones and particularities of that piece, and no other. The latest innovation in our portfolio, an ultra-thin slab of just 0,7 mm instead of the classic 2 cm version, radically changes the rules of the game. It reduces the material's limitations, opens up new possibilities for application and completely transforms the way we will design and work together from now on.
